Monthly Update | April 2025
Six months of building with a clear mission: To help sophomores scale their nonprofits throughout college and beyond, without burning out along the way.
Welcome to the first edition of TRIIBE Talk, our way of staying transparent about what we’ve done, what we’re building, and where we’re headed.
As we celebrate our 6-month anniversary, we’re deeply grateful for all of the support we’ve received, and we’re committed to giving back ten times more to our cohorts!

“We should see networks as a vehicle for creating value for everyone, not just claiming it for ourselves” (Adam Grant)
This Month, our book club read Give and Take by Adam Grant. Check out our quotebook full of our favorite passages from each book so far!
Thank you to our supporters for helping us reach these milestones!
Achieved 501(c)(3) status
Team grew from 11 to 17
Accepted into Wasserman’s Unstoppable Accelerator

Present Areas Of Focus
Scaling cohort visibility (podcasts, newsletters, speaking engagements)
Building university and nonprofit partnerships
Finalizing TRIIBE Ted-talk style keynote
Refining our key documents
Sourcing a keynote speaker for our May 18th board meeting
Want to support us further? Here are our present asks
Help connect our cohort to journalists, storytellers, and amplifiers of all kinds
We’ve gratefully reached our fundraising targets, but one of our members, Laya Pothunuri is fundraising $2,000 to work again in the Galápagos. (see her past video series here: Ep 1, Ep 2, Ep 3)
Become a 1 on 1 mentor for our current cohort as they implement our grants
Future Goals
Strengthen our community with a weekend in-person workshop
Source applicants for our Fall 2025 cohort
Expand access (build out our resource hub and connect our cohort to grants)
We also want to find new and meaningful ways to appreciate our mentors, donors, and supporters. Please let us know how we can show up for you, too!
Together, we are building a stronger generation of youth-led nonprofits. Real change cannot be made alone, it takes a TRIIBE!
Whether through becoming a mentor, making a contribution, or spreading the word, you are vital to the success of our young changemakers. And, of course, I’m certain that these young minds will surprise and inspire you in turn.
With Gratitude,
The TRIIBE Team
